QUINCY, Ill. – Despite two goals by DU senior
Alec Nagel off free kicks, 11
th ranked Quincy scored three second half goals to claim a 3-2 GLVC victory at the Legends Stadium on Sunday.
Drury is now 6-2 overall and 4-2 GLVC and Quincy is now 9-0 overall and 6-0 GLVC.
Nagel's first free kick goal (20:43) came from 20 yards out and his second free kick goal (65:39) was from 22 yards out. Nagel leads the Panthers with six goals on the 2014 campaign, following up his two goal game performance at Truman State on Friday in the Panthers 4-2 victory.
Jordan Roberts scored his GLVC leading ninth goal of the season to tie the game up 1-1 at the 59:34 mark coming off a Taylor Reis assist. Nagel's second free kick goal put the Panthers back on top 2-1 before a Artan Emini goal knotted the game up at 2-2 for the Hawks (73:49) assisted by Steve McAnany.
Xhovani Dokaj scored his eighth goal of the year from eight yards out crossing between a pair of Panther defenders for the Quincy game winner (82:14) assisted by Roberts.
The Panthers did snap a six game shutout streak by the Hawks. Drury held a 16 to 13 shot advantage with seven to five on goal edge as well. Nagel took a team high three shots for the Panthers and Roberts registered five for the Hawks.

Logan Ponche posted two saves and Drew Duncan had five saves for the Hawks.
