Wisconsin-Parkside made a goal in the 28th minute by Chloe Couves stand up for a 1-0 victory over Drury in Great Lakes Valley Conference women' s soccer action Friday evening at Harrison Stadium in the Curry Sports Complex.
The victory by Parkside (5-7-1, 4-6-1) snapped Drury's 21-match home unbeaten streak, a run that dated back to a 1-0 loss to Quincy in October of 2013.
The Panthers fell to 6-3-4 overall and 5-3-3 in the league despite outshooting the Rangers 10-4, including 3-2 in shots on goal.
Drury closes out its regular season home schedule on Sunday with Senior Day festivities when the Panthers take on Lewis in a noon start (with the senior ceremony to start at approximately 11:45 a.m).
