RENSSELAER, Ind. – An early first half goal by Sebastien Quinteros (14:54) gave Saint Joseph's a 1-0 GLVC win over the Drury men's soccer team here on Friday.
The Panthers are now 7-6-2 overall and are now 7-4-2 in the GLVC and Saint Joseph's improved to 9-5 overall and 8-5 in the GLVC.
Drury outshot the Pumas 19-18 and also had seven shots on goal to just four by the Pumas.
Matt Clarkin took a team-high four shots two of those on goal and both
David Cross and
Antoine Vial recorded three shots. Lucas Moreira had a team-best four shots for the Pumas. Drury took four corners and the Pumas had one.
Drury will continue GLVC play when they travel to Indianapolis on Sunday for a game at 2:30 p.m.
