ST. LOUIS - The Drury women's soccer team played to a 1-1 GLVC tie at Maryville on Sunday.
Drury is now 5-2-3, 4-2-2 in GLVC play and Maryville moves to 5-3-2, 4-2-2 in the GLVC.
After a scoreless first half in which Drury was unable to get a shot off,
Kerri Morris put Drury on top 11 minutes into the second half with her team-leading sixth goal of the year off an
Emily Cline assist.
Maryville responded quickly with Shannon Foley scoring off a rebound shot just two yards from the goal at the 69:33 mark.
Maryville dominated Drury offensively outshooting the Panthers 19-4 in the contest. Maryville had one shot in the first OT and two in the second with DU not recording a shot in overtime.
Tina Haberberger recorded seven saves for Drury.
The Drury women's soccer team returns home on Friday when they will host Quincy in GLVC action at Harrison Stadium/The Curry Sports Complex with start time set for 5 p.m.
