Drury has opened with victories over MIAA members Southwest Baptist (84-69) and Washburn (66-46). ... The Lady Panthers are now 10-2 against MIAA teams over the past three seasons, including a 73-70 win over the Jennies in Warrensburg last season. ... UCM opened the season with losses to Northwest Nazarene (88-63) and Minnesota State-Moorhead (63-58) in Las Vegas before defeating William Jewell 80-70 last Wednesday in Warrensburg. ... Shelby Winkelmann, a 5-9 senior guard, had 24 points in the win over Jewell in her first appearance of the season for the Jennies (the Nebraska transfer also plays volleyball for a very strong UCM program, missing their Vegas games as a result). ... Armstrong went 5-for-5 at the free-throw line in Saturday's win over Washburn. The nation's leading FT shooter last season, Armstrong has made 124 of her last 130 tries at the stripe (.954 percent). ...
