AUSTIN, Texas -
Luke Burnidge pitched 6 1/3 innings of five-hit, shutout baseball to lead Drury to a 2-0 victory over St. Edward's and a split of their Saturday doubleheader.
St. Edward's claimed an 11-10 victory in Saturday's seven-inning opener, rallying from a 10-0 deficit. The Hilltoppers are now 8-6, while Drury is 2-2 after the teams split the weekend four-game set.

Bobby Lang and
Tyler Arthur, as the Panthers' pitching staff did the rest after Burnidge struck out five and walked none in his first DU start.
Nick Costantino allowed just two hits over 1 2/3 innings, and
Gage Jacobs came on to pitch the ninth for his first save of the season.
In Saturday's opener, Drury raced to a 10-0 lead after two innings, largely on a seven-run second inning, but watched St. Edward's close the game to 10-7 with a seven-run third. The Hilltoppers tied it with three in the fourth, and then pushed a run across in the bottom of the seventh for the victory.
Connor Wilson had two hits and drove in three runs, Arthur hit a three-run homer and Lang had a pair of hits for the Panthers, who were outhit 14-10 and committed three errors in the opener.
Ryan Colombo gave up eight hits and nine runs over three innings of work for the Panthers, but only three runs were earned.
Austin Simms (0-1) took the loss for DU, allowing 6 hits and two runs in his 3 1/3 innings of relief.
Drury returns home to host Wisconsin-Parkside in the Meador Park opener next Saturday and Sunday, a non-conference series with the Rangers.
