LIBERTY – The Drury women's soccer team played to a scoreless tie in their GLVC opener at William Jewell on Friday.
Drury is now 1-0-2, 0-0-1 GLVC and William Jewell is 1-0-2, 0-0-1 GLVC.
Drury was outshot 19-15 by Jewell with
Mariah Gove taking a team-high four with three of those on goal and
Gabbe Millott getting off three shots all on goal for the Panthers. Shots on goal were even at nine and Jewell had six corners with Drury finishing with three.
Tina Haberberger had nine saves and Jordan Lewis for Jewell had nine saves.
The Drury women will host Rockhurst at Harrison Stadium/The Curry Sports Complex on Sunday at noon.
