LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A penalty kick by Mary Beth Gorham with just under six minutes left in the contest (84:39) gave No. 15 Bellarmine a 1-0 GLVC victory over the Drury women's soccer team at O.B. Frazier Stadium on Friday.
Drury is now 2-1-2, 1-1-1 GLVC and Bellarmine improved to 6-0, 3-0 GLVC.
Gorham in the Knights team leader with a team-high six goals.
Bellarmine outshot Drury 16-8 and had seven shots on goal with the Panthers recording just one. Drury took four corners with Bellarmine taking three.
Tina Haberberger recorded six saves in goal and
Kerri Morris had two shots for the Panthers.
The Drury women will continue Great Lakes Valley Conference road play on Sunday when they will be at Southern Indiana in a noon start.
