William Jewell used two first half goals in route to a 2-1 GLVC road win over the Drury women's soccer team Sunday at Harrison Stadium.
William Jewell improved to 4-10-2, 4-9-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Drury fell to 4-10-2 overall and 2-10-2 in the GLVC.
Haley White netted her first goal of the season at the 5:10 mark off a Shalynn Thomas assist for an early Cardinals lead.Â
Kerri Morris scored her team leading fourth goal of the year at the 16:16 mark assisted by
Kayla Day.
It would be Allison Mallott with the game winning goal coming at 28:30 off an Emily Monroe assist.Â
William Jewell outshot Drury 16-13 with Allison Malott and Emily Monroe each recording three.Â
Gabbe Millot had five shots with three of those on goal and Morris took four shots with one on goal for DU.
The Panthers continue GLVC action at home in their regular season finale vs. Missouri S&T on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
