John Goodrich went 3-for-3 as Drury pounded out 13 hits to to earn a 8-5 non-conference victory over Arkansas-Ft. Smith at Meador Park on Friday.
Drury is now 3-5 and Arkansas-Ft. Smith is now 10-6.
In the first inning 
Conner Wilson singled to right to plate 
Mason McCarville for a 1-0 lead.  The Lions took a 2-1 lead with a pair of RBI singles in the top of the fourth.  The back and forth battle continued in the bottom of the fourth when 
Christian Magno singled to right center to plate Wilson and tie it up at 2 and later scored on a wild pitch to give the Panthers a 3-2 edge. 
The Lions tied it back up in the fifth taking advantage of a wild pitch.  Goodrich posted his third hit of the game with an RBI single to left scoring 
Michael Pfeifer in the sixth to put DU back on top 4-3.  Drury added a run on an UAFS error that allowed Magno to score and cap off the sixth making it 5-3.
UAFS used an RBI groundout in the seventh to pull to within a run 5-4.  Drury stretched that lead to 7-4 in the seventh on a two RBI single by Pfeifer.  
Ryan Colombo added an RBI single in the eighth to cap off the 8-5 win. 
Goodrich paced the Panthers going 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles.  Magno added two hits in the Panthers 13 hit outing.  UAFS finished with eight hits with Trevor Crone having three of those.
Austin Sims (1-1) earned the win in 2.2 innings of action for Drury with 
Ryan Wedermyer getting his second save.  Hayden Harvey (0-1) received the loss for the Lions.
Drury will continue their three game series with Arkansas-Ft. Smith tomorrow at Meador at noon and wrap up action vs. the Lions on Sunday at Meador at noon.
