Wisconsin-Parkside's two first half goals lifts Rangers over Panthers

SOMERS, Wisc. – Two first half by Wisconsin-Parkside held up for a 2-0 over Drury on Sunday afternoon in Somers, Wisconsin.

Drury goalkeeper Tina Haberberger kept the Panthers in the game making 15 saves while Wisconsin-Parkside put up 23 shots overall to Drury's 7.

The Rangers got first half goals from Brooke Monroe in the 13th minute and Jillian Hetfleisch in the 22nd minute for the only scores of the game.

Panthers shots came from two players as Gabbe Millot had four shots, all on goal and Keri Morris had three shots for Drury.  

The loss extended the Panthers winless streak to four games and dropped their record to 2-3-1 and 0-3-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Rangers improved to 3-2-1 and 3-1-0 in the GLVC.

Drury will look to bounce back next week when again on Friday at Truman State. Game time is 1 p.m. in Kirksville, Missouri.
