SPRINGFIELD –Missouri State won seven of the twelve events Friday to claim a 144-87 victory over the Drury men's swimming and diving team.

The Drury men had a very good night in freestyle events, taking home four wins, which included the 400 Free Relay (3:02.09) in the last event of the evening.

Aitor Martinez, a freshman from Colmenar Viejo, Spain, took home wins in the 100 Free (45.90) and the 200 Free (1:40.90).  Pavel Semochkin, a freshman from St. Petersburg, Russia, was the winner in the 200 Back (1:51.88), and DU senior Rodrigo Caceres touched first in the 50 Free with a time of 20.77.

Next up for the Panther swimming and diving teams will be the Drury Invitational at Breech Pool on November 3-4.
