EVANSVILLE, Ind.- Drury split a doubleheader at Southern Indiana winning the first game 4-3 and falling in game two 12-3 on Friday in Evansville, Indiana.

Drury ended the day with a 9-6 record while the Screaming Eagles went to 4-8.

In game one, the Panthers scored a run in the top of the eighth to break a 3-3 tie on their way to a 4-3 win.
KK Daniel's single to left field drove in
Ryan Colombo for the game-winning RBI. Colombo went 3 for 5 in the game with two runs, a double and a RBI.

Garrett Woods (2-2) got the win going seven innings allowing six hits and three runs with three walks and six strikeouts.
Alex Austin pitched two scoreless innings to earn his second save of the year. Â

Southern Indiana jumped out to an 8-0 lead after four innings for a 12-3 win the second game.Â

Shane Benes went 3 for 4 at the plate with two runs and a double for Drury.
KK Daniel went 2 for 4 with two RBI's and a double.

Five Southern Indiana hitters had two hits each for the Screaming Eagles while Lucas Barnett (1-0) got the win going seven innings allowing six hits, two runs and no earned runs with no walks and six strikeouts.

Austin Simms (2-1) took the loss for the Panthers.

Drury returns home for a game Tuesday against the University of Central Missouri, currently ranked number two nationally in NCAA-II. First pitch is at 3 p.m. at US Baseball Park in Ozark.
