Panthers home vs Illinois Springfield on Friday
Drury plays their next to last home game of the year on Friday as they host Illinois Springfield at 5 p.m. in Harrison Stadium/Curry Sports Complex.
The Panthers are 0-11-1 and 0-8 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Drury is coming off of a 2-1 loss at Lewis in a game that saw the Flyers rally with a late goal to win at home. The Prairie Stars are 1-9-2 and 1-7 in the league. Illinois Springfield's last five games have all been 1-0 losses, and they have dropped seven straight overall. Their lone win in the conference came on Sept. 14 against Maryville in their GLVC opener.
Drury leads the all-time series 6-2-1 but lost last year's game at UIS 3-0.
The Panthers play their final home game of 2018 on Sunday when they host Quincy. Drury will honor their senior players at the game that starts at noon at Harrison Stadium/Curry Sports Complex.
