SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– Maddie Bauer and Lauren Crane each had two goals for Quincy as the Hawks beat Drury 6-0 on Sunday at Harrison Stadium/Curry Sports Complex.
Quincy improved to 8-5-1 and 6-3-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Panthers fell to 0-13-1 and 0-10 in the league.
Bauer scored her first goal of the game in the 23rd minute, and Crane followed with another goal 61 seconds later. The Hawks took a 3-0 lead when Grace Hilbing scored with 5:18 left before halftime.
Quincy added three more goals in the second half as Crane scored again in the 46
th minute and also had an assist on Sunday. Bauer scored her second of the game, and she had three assists in the contest as part of a seven-point afternoon.
Quincy had a 15-4 advantage in shots, and all four of Drury's shots came from their two seniors playing in their final home game as part of Senior Day.
Gabbe Millot and
Uxoa Bertiz both registered two shots for the Panthers.
Drury is in action again on Friday when they travel to Indianapolis for a 4 p.m. (Central) against the Greyhounds.
