EVANSVILLE, Ind.- The eighth-ranked Drury Panthers rebounded from a Friday night loss at Bellarmine to beat Southern Indiana 3-0 (25-23, 25-14, 25-16) in Evansville, Indiana on Saturday.

The Panthers improved to 21-4 and 11-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Screaming Eagles fell to 10-15 and 2-12 in the league.

In the opening set, it appeared Drury's struggles that saw them fall in four sets the night before carried over into Saturday's match as they trailed Southern Indiana 20-14 before storming back to win 25-23. From there the Panthers cruised winning the second set 25-14 and the third 25-16.

Emmalee Chrest led Drury with 13 kills while
Kendra Sater added 35 assists. The Panthers recorded 15 blocks as a team and
Taylor Forth was credited with a solo block and seven block assists.

Drury will play their third straight conference road game on Tuesday when they travel to Missouri S&T for a 7 p.m. game in Rolla.
