SPRINGFIELD, Mo.- The 12
th ranked Drury Panthers picked up a 3-0 win (25-7, 25-15, 25-15) over Maryville on Saturday at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.

Less than 24 hours after being pushed to five sets by Missouri-St. Louis on Friday night, Drury responded with a victory that took just 69 minutes as the Panthers improved to 17-3 and 10-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. It marked Drury's 14
th win in their last 15 games. Maryville dropped to 4-16 and 0-12 in the league.

Abby Welther, a sophomore from Pleasant Hill, Missouri, led Drury with 10 kills and added three service aces. Junior
Kendra Sater contributed 26 assists and posted five kills. The Panthers registered a season-high .420 hitting percentage in the match.

"We felt confident coming in but being able to execute with as high of efficiency as we did was really important because it set a good tone from the beginning," said Drury head coach
Jenifer Bahner. "It also gave other people some opportunities, and I thought everybody that came off of our bench did a great job."

Drury returns to action next weekend in the Mizuno Midwest Region Volleyball Crossover Tournament played at the The Academy Volleyball Club in Indianapolis, Indiana on Oct. 12 and 13. The Panthers will play three matches against teams from the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. The full schedule for the tournament will be announced early next week.
