ROMEOVILLE, Ill.– Drury scored twice in the second half and shut out Lewis for a 2-0 win on Sunday in Romeoville, Illinois.
The Panthers went to 2-0-1 in their last three games and improved to 2-8-2 overall. Drury also moved even in the standings with Lewis as they raised their record in the Great Lakes Valley Conference to 2-5-1 while the Flyers dropped to 3-6-3 overall and 2-5-1 in the league.
Drury got on the board early in the second half when
Francesco Ferri scored from 20 yards out for his second goal of the season. The Panthers then put the game away in the 83rd minute when
Jamie O'Brien scored his fourth goal of the year to put Drury ahead 2-0.

Nico Helin recorded the 16th shutout of his career as the senior from Paris, France had two saves and faced four shots. The Panthers outshot the Flyers 10-4. Ferri had four shots and three on goal to lead Drury.
The Panthers return home on Friday to face Illinois Springfield at 7:30 p.m. in Harrison Stadium/Curry Sports Complex.
