ST. LOUIS, Mo.– The University of Missouri-St. Louis scored on a penalty kick just 43 seconds into overtime to hand Drury a 1-0 loss at Don Dallas Field in St. Louis on Sunday.
Drury and UMSL battled to a scoreless tie through 90 minutes with the Panthers owning an 11-9 advantage in shots at the end of regulation. Drury had five shots on goal to the Tritons' three, but UMSL goalkeeper Nedin Kudic kept Drury off the board with five saves while Nic Helin made three saves for the Panthers. Drury freshman

UMSL was awarded a penalty kick less than a minute into overtime, and Magnus Anderson provided the game-winner with his second goal of the season. Sunday's game marked the fourth straight time UMSL had been forced into overtime.
Drury fell to 0-5-1 and 0-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Tritons improved to 2-3 and 1-1 in the league.
The Panthers return home for their next game as they host Maryville on Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Harrison Stadium / Curry Sports Complex.
