Panthers return home to host Maryville
Drury is home for the first time since Sept. 2 as the Panthers take on Maryville on Friday at 10 a.m. in Harrison Stadium/Curry Sports Complex.
Drury enters the game 0-5-1 and 0-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Panthers are coming off of a 1-0 loss at the University of Missouri-St. Louis last Sunday. Maryville is 1-1-3, 0-1-1 in the conference and is coming off of a 1-1 tie at home against Bellarmine. The Saints win came at Lindenwood in a 3-1 victory on Sept. 3, and their lone loss was to Illinois Springfield, 1-0 on Sept. 14. Maryville has battled to ties in three other contests.
The Panthers lead the all-time series against Maryville 4-2-3 and won last year's meeting with a 3-1 win in St. Louis. Maryville won in their previous trip to Springfield with a 1-0 win over Drury in 2016.
Drury is home again on Sunday when they host Missouri S&T at noon.
