Panthers host McKendree at Lake Country Soccer Complex
Drury continues their homestand on Friday as they host McKendree for a 5 p.m. game at the Lake Country Soccer Complex.
The Panthers are 0-7-1 and 0-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Bearcats are 5-1-1 and 2-1-1 in the league. McKendree went 0-1-1 last weekend with a 0-0 tie at Indianapolis in their previous game and a 1-0 loss at home to Bellarmine on Feb. 21.
The Bearcats have allowed only two goals this season, fewest in the GLVC by four. McKendree is the defending conference champion having won the league tournament in 2017, and they outscored their opponents 6-1 during their postseason run.
Last year, Drury battled a 19th ranked McKendree team to a 1-1 tie at home and the Panthers lead the all-time series against the Bearcats 8-2-1.
Drury plays their sixth straight home game on Sunday when they host William Jewell. Game time is at noon at Harrison Stadium / Curry Sports Complex.
