KIRKSVILLE, Mo.– Drury got on the board first, but Truman State responded with a goal late in the first half and another early in the second half to slip past the Panthers 2-1 on Friday in Kirksville, Missouri.

Chloe Cash, who got past a defender and the TSU goalkeeper to score her second goal of the season.
The Panthers lead held up until the final minutes of the first half when Anna Meyer scored her third goal of the season to tie the match at 1-1. In the opening minutes of the second half, the Bulldogs took their first lead with a blast outside of the box by Hannah Burke that deflected off of the crossbar and into the net. The goal was Burke's second of the season.
Truman State then held off the Panthers the rest of the way to improve to 4-5-1 and 4-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The loss was Drury's sixth defeat decided by a single goal and dropped the Panthers record to 1-9-1 and 1-7 in the league.
Drury continues their road trip on Sunday as they travel to Quincy for a game scheduled for a 12 pm start in Quincy, Illinois.
