INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Drury opened GLVC/GLIAC Crossover play with a 3-1 loss against Michigan Tech on Friday at the Academy Volleyball Club.

After Drury won their opening set against the Huskies 25-21, the Panthers dropped the next three sets by margins of 25-16, 26-24 and 25-19.

Gabby Birmingham, a freshman from Springfield, led the Panthers with 27 assists. Three Drury players reached double-figures in kills as
Julia McCown had 17,
Regan Dennis added 14 and
Makina Wratten had 11. Â The Panthers finished the match with a .220 hitting percentage and Tech hit .255. Â Â The Huskies were led by Olivia Ghormley who posted 14 kills.

Drury fell to 13-8 while Michigan Tech improved to 14-4.
Drury will face Walsh and Grand Valley State tomorrow at the Crossover which matches set for 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
