ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Drury remains unbeaten in Great Lakes Valley Conference play with a 3-1 road win over Maryville on Friday. The Panthers put away the Saints by scores of 25-16, 25-20, 21-25, and 25-16.
Gabby Birmingham, a freshman from Springfield, led the Panthers with 25 assists and a team-high three serving aces. Three Drury players reached double-figures in kills as
Julia McCown had 15,
Regan Dennis added 14 and
Makina Wratten had 11. The Saints were led by Faith Ahlhardt and Allison Lakin who each finished with 10 kills.
Drury improved to 16-11 overall and 10-0 in the GLVC and Maryville dropped to 7-20 overall and 0-10 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
Drury will face Missouri S&T tomorrow in Rolla with first serve set for 3 p.m.
