ROLLA, Mo. - Drury volleyball suffered their first loss of the season in Great Lakes Valley Conference play as Missouri S&T posted a 3-1 win over the Panthers on Saturday. The Miners captured the match victory by scores of 18-25, 25-17, 25-23, and 25-17.
Reba Thomsen, a junior from Burlington, Wisconsin, led the Panthers with 17 assists. Julia McCown had a team-high nine kills and Paige Perry recorded a Panther high 20 digs.
Drury moves to 16-12 overall and 10-1 in the GLVC and Missouri S&T improved to 20-6 overall and 7-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
Drury will host Illinois-Springfield on Friday at the O'Reilly Family Event Center with first serve set for 7 p.m.
