LOUISVILLE, Ky.- Bellarmine stormed their way to a first set win over Drury 25-15 and carried that momentum for a 3-0 victory over the Panthers on Friday night in Louisville, Kentucky.

Drury fell to 17-14 and 11-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Their loss marks the first time this season the Panthers have lost back-to-back conference games. The Knights improved to 19-10 and 9-5 in the GLVC.

Drury was on their way to bouncing back from their first set loss as they led 16-13 in the second set. Bellarmine, however, evened the score at 18-18 and pulled ahead to take the set by two. The Knights closed the match by winning six of the last seven points of the third set to complete the 3-0 win.

Taylor Forth and
Julia McCown both led Drury with eight kills. Forth added a pair of blocks while
Reba Thomsen and
Kayla Allison had 13 digs each.

Jayme Scott had 19 kills and two blocks for Bellarmine. Â

Drury ends the regular season on Saturday with a 3 pm (Central) match at Indianapolis.
