INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- Drury's comeback effort fell short in a 3-1 loss at Indianapolis on Saturday. The Panthers lost the first two sets but won the third, 25-17, and fought to a 24-24 tie in fourth only to fall by two, 26-24.

The Panthers ended the regular season with a 17-15 overall record and an 11-4 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Greyhounds improved to 20-8 and 11-4 in the league.

Makina Wratten had 14 kills and nine block assists to lead Drury.
Taylor Forth and
Julia McCown had 12 kills each while
Gabby Birmingham had 31 assists, and
Paige Perry contributed 20 digs.

Katie Furlong led Indianapolis with 18 kills.

Drury ends the regular season tied for fourth with UIndy in the conference standings.

The Panthers and Greyhounds will face one another again next weekend in the quarterfinals of the GLVC tournament in East Peoria, Illinois. The bracket and game times will be announced later this weekend.
