Lubbock Christian is playing in their third Elite Eight in four years, and the program made the NCAA-II tournament in their first year of postseason eligibility at this level in 2016. That season, they won the national championship defeating Alaska Anchorage 78-73 in Indianapolis to win the title. They are 11-1 in their history in the NCAA-II tournament.

LCU advanced to the Elite Eight winning the South Central Regional tournament with wins over Tarleton St. 84-53, #19 Colorado Mesa 56-53, and over #21 Angelo State 76-70. The Lady Chaps won the Heartland Conference going 13-1 in the league's regular season.

Wednesday's game is the first-ever meeting between the two programs.

Notes to Know:
--Hailey Diestelkamp needs three rebounds to break Drury's single-season rebounding record. Diestelkamp enters Wednesday's game with 309 boards and trails Melanie Oliver's total of 311 set in the 2009-10 season.
--Daejah Bernard needs only three more steals to set a new single-season mark at Drury in that category. She comes into the semifinals with 131 steals and trails Kara Rutledge with 133 in 2003-04.
--Drury's 35-game winning streak is the longest in program history and topped the previous mark of 30 set by their national runner-up team in 2003-04.
--This season marks the Lady Panthers third straight 30-win season. Drury went 30-4 in 2016-17, 31-3 in '17-18, and is 31-0 so far this year. They are 94-5 in the last three years combined with a 52-2 GLVC record in that span.
