TABLE ROCK LAKE, Mo.— Drury's Bass Fishing teams took first and second place at the BASS National Missouri qualifier at Table Rock Lake in Missouri last weekend.
Cole Breeden (Fr., Lebanon, Mo.), and
Cameron Smith (Fr., Ozark, Mo.) teamed up to land 15.46 pounds of fish to earn top honors at the event while
Dalton Combs (Fr., Ozark, Mo.) and
Jack Rankin (Fr., Springfield-Glendale) came in second with 14.77 pounds. Missouri University had boats finishing in third and fourth while a duo from Southeast Missouri State finished fifth.
The Panthers also had an 11th place finish from
Grant Harris (Soph., Springfield-Glendale) and
Lauren Plunkett (Jr., Eugene, Mo.) while
Jacob Welch (Fr., Jefferson City, Mo.) came in 17th and
Riley Fletcher (Soph., Cassville, Mo.) and
JT Long was 18th.
Drury entered the event ranked 26th among 292 programs in the Association of Collegiate Anglers Collegiate Bass Fishing Series. McKendree ranks first in the point rankings while Bethel (Tenn.) is second and Murray State is third.
