Panthers continue homestand with games Friday and Sunday
Drury is home for two games this weekend hosting William Jewell on Friday at 5 p.m., and 22nd ranked Rockhurst at noon on Sunday at Harrison Stadium/Curry Sports Complex.
 
The Panthers are coming off of a 2-1 win at home over Missouri S&T on Sunday and are 1-4-1 with a 1-2 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. William Jewell is 0-4-1 and 0-3 in the league while Rockhurst is 5-0 with a 3-0 record in the GLVC. The Hawks are at Southwest Baptist on Friday before coming to Springfield. Rockhurst is one of three teams in the GLVC off to a 3-0 league start.
 
Kayla Day leads Drury with three goals, and the O'Fallon, Missouri native is tied for fourth in the GLVC in goals scored.
 
Drury is 5-5-2 all-time against William Jewell but has not beaten the Cardinals since 2014. The Panthers are 0-3-1 in their last four meetings with William Jewell. The Panthers are 10-7-2 against Rockhurst and have gone 2-3 against the Hawks since 2014.
 
Drury's homestand continues next weekend when the Panthers host McKendree on Oct. 4 and Southern Indiana on Oct. 6.
