Drury faces Northwest Missouri St. in season opener
The Panthers open the 2019 season on Friday as they host Northwest Missouri State at Harrison Stadium in the Curry Sports Complex.

Head coach
Alf Bilbao goes into his 14
th season leading the Drury women's soccer program and brings back nine full-time starters from last year's squad. Bilbao, Drury's all-time leader in career coaching wins for women's soccer, owns a 113-98-34 record with the Panthers.
Brinn Cooper, a sophomore out of Springfield-Catholic, led last year's team with three goals and an assist while
Chloe Cash (Soph., Nixa, Mo.) and
Kaley Rottinghaus (Jr., Olathe, Kan.) each scored a pair of goals last season.

Northwest Missouri State will also be playing their season opener on Friday. The Bearcats went 2-15 last year under first-year head coach Marc Gordon. Gordon owns a career record of 115-53-15 after guiding Ottawa (Kan.) University for eight seasons where his teams won three conference titles and made six national tournament appearances in the NAIA.

Friday's game is the first-ever meeting between the two programs.

Following Friday night's game, the Panthers are home again on Sunday when they host Newman for a noon kickoff at Harrison Stadium.
