SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– Drury opens the Great Lakes Valley Conference schedule at home this weekend with a three-game series against Missouri-St. Louis at US Baseball Park in Ozark. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday, followed by a game on Sunday, with both days scheduled for a first pitch at noon.
 
The Panthers are 10-6 and had a four-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday in a 6-5, 10-inning loss at fifth-ranked Central Missouri. Drury went 21-12 in the GLVC last year in a jumbled league race that saw nine teams finish within three games of each other. The Panthers league record had them tied for fourth last season.
 
The Missouri-St. Louis Tritons are 3-8 and were swept in a three-game series by Quincy in non-conference play last weekend. The Tritons fell 9-1 to the Hawks on Sunday and dropped both games of a doubleheader the day before losing 8-0 and 8-4.
 
Drury leads the all-time series against UMSL 29-19, but the Tritons took two out of three against the Panthers last year in St. Louis.
 
Following this weekend's action, the Panthers take on Missouri Southern in a non-conference game on Tuesday, March 10, at 4 pm at US Baseball Park in Ozark.
