SPRINGFIELD, Mo.–
Chloe Cash scored in the second overtime to give the Drury Panthers a 2-1 win over Quincy on Friday at Harrison Stadium in Springfield.
The win gives Drury an 11-4-1 record with a 9-3-1 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Their 11 wins is the most the program has had since 2009. Quincy fell to 6-9 and 5-8 in the GLVC.
Cash's goal came in the 101
st minute as she notched her third score of the season.
Quincy got on the board first, scoring on a penalty kick by Lauren Crane moments before halftime. The Panthers evened the game in the 70
th minute when
Elsa Gonzalez scored her ninth goal of the year on a header with an assist from Keely Combs.
Kaitlin Knetzke saw 10 shots and made five saves as she got the win goal for Drury.
The Panthers end the regular season on Sunday when they host Illinois Springfield for a game at noon at Harrison Stadium.
