Panthers host Lewis in GLVC Quarterfinals
The Drury Panthers are in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament for the first time 2015 and will host Lewis in the quarterfinals on Sunday at noon in Harrison Stadium.

The Panthers are the number two seed, their best finish in program history in the GLVC. Drury is 12-4-1 and 10-3-1 in the conference. The Flyers are seeded seventh and are 9-5-2 with a 7-5-2 record in the league.

Drury is led by Elsa Gonzalez, named last week as the GLVC Offensive Player of the Year. The sophomore from Spain has nine goals, three assists, and 21 points so far this year. Panthers goalkeeper Kaitlin Knetzke leads the conference in goals-against average and is 11-4-1 with a 0.37 GAA.
 
Cali Havelka-Vanderplow has seven goals, seven assists, and 21 points for Lewis, while GK Lucy Clark carries a 0.90 GAA and a .797 save percentage.
 
The winner of Friday's game will be the winner of third-seeded Truman State and the sixth seed, Missouri S&T. The other quarterfinal games feature regular season champion McKendree hosting eighth-seeded Missouri-St. Louis, and number four Indianapolis at home against fifth-seeded Southern Indiana.
 
The semifinals are Fri., Nov. 12 with the championship game on Sun., Nov. 14. The next two rounds will be played at the site of the highest remaining seed from the quarterfinals.
