SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– Rockhurst broke a scoreless tie in the 76
th minute to edge the Drury Panthers 1-0 on Sunday at Harrison Stadium in Springfield, Missouri.
The loss dropped Drury to 1-1, and the Hawks improved to 1-0-1.
The game deadlocked until Rockhurst's Jordan Andrews blasted a shot into the right corner of the net for the game's only goal.
Drury's
Jayd Hamdaoua, who scored two goals in Friday's season-opener, had five shots in the match including two on goal. Hawks goalkeeper Fabio D'Errico had three saves in the win.
The Panthers return to action on Friday when they travel to Southwest Baptist for an 8:30 pm game in Bolivar, Missouri.
