ROMEOVILLE, Ill.– Drury's six-game winning streak came to an end on Friday as 23
rd ranked Lewis snapped the Panthers run in a 3-0 win in Romeoville, Illinois. The Flyers improved to 18-7 and 7-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, while Drury went to 13-15 and 4-6 in the league.
Lewis pulled away to win the first set 25-21, won the second 25-20, and closed out the match with a 25-17 win in the third.
Stormi Tadlock led the Panthers with a game-high 13 kills and added two block assists, while
Chloe Rear 25 assists to go with 11 digs.
Juliana Squire led Drury's back row with 15 digs. The Flyers had 12 total blocks to Drury's two and Bella Ray put up seven block assists and led Lewis with 10 kills. Andrea Zeiser added 15 digs in the match.
The Panthers continue their road trip at Illinois Springfield on Saturday with game time at 3 pm.
