ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Missouri-St. Louis Tritons recorded 40 kills while committing just six errors in a 3-0 win over Drury on Friday in St. Louis.
The Tritons maintained a share of first place in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, going to 6-1 in the league and 13-4 overall. The Panthers fell to 7-13 and 2-4 in the league.
Drury lost the first two sets by identical 25-17 scores before the Tritons closed out the match 25-8 in the third.
Charlotte Richards led UMSL with 13 kills, while Caitlin Bishop distributed 30 assists and Kylie Adams had 11 digs.
Chloe Rear paced the Panthers with nine kills and 10 assists.
Drury continues their road swing on Saturday with a 3 pm match at Maryville.
