SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— The Drury men's swimming & diving team is ranked number one in the nation in NCAA-II in this month's coaches' poll. The Panthers were ranked number three in the preseason and took over the top position receiving 297 points in the latest ranking.
Fellow Great Lakes Valley Conference member Indianapolis received 291 points in the poll and is ranked second, while Colorado Mesa is third. Five GLVC teams are in the men's top 25 this month. In addition to Drury and Indianapolis, McKendree is ranked fourth, Missouri-St. Louis is 20
th, and Lewis is ranked 21
st .
The Drury women's swimming & diving team is ranked fifth in the latest national poll. Colorado Mesa is ranked number one this month, with Indianapolis ranked second and Nova Southeastern third. One other GLVC women's team is in the poll with McKendree at number 15.
Both Drury swim teams return to their home pool on Jan. 20 when they host Missouri State at 5 pm.
