Panthers shut down Purdue-Northwest 2-0

HAMMOND, Ind.– Drury won its second game of the season with a 2-0 victory over Purdue-Northwest on Friday. The Panthers now are 2-0-1 to start the young season.
 
Drury dominated on defense, where they didn't allow a single shot while getting off 23 of their own. Jenna Peterson and Keeley Combs both scored for Drury in the contest. Annalise Hamel tallied the lone assist for the day when she set up Peterson in the 44th minute.
 
The Panthers will play in their first home game of the season on Sunday at Harrison Stadium.  They will take on the Missouri Southern Lions at 2 pm.
