After a scoreless first half, the Panthers got on the board in the 52

The Panthers got a 2-0 cushion in the 74

The Panthers dominated field position and shots with a 35-3 advantage. Drury put 13 shots on goal in the game.
"It was our Senior Day so it was great to get a win for them," said Drury head coach
Justin Olson, whose team honored 12 players before the match. "This class started when I came in and it was our first official recruiting class and it happened during COVID, so this was special for them.
"In the second half, we wanted to improve the quality of our chances from the first half. We did that, got a couple of goals and survive to get the three points."
Drury goalkeeper
Kaitlin Knetzke made two saves for the win and the senior from Ozark (Springfield Catholic) recorded her 11
th shutout of the season.
"In a game like this, you still try and stay engaged for those moments that can potentially be dangerous," said Knetzke. "So I just have to stay engaged and make sure I'm always ready."
Drury's win keeps them in a first-place tie in the GLVC standings with Maryville. The Panthers have two games remaining in the regular season.
Drury is the road for their next game as they travel to Missouri-St. Louis for a 7:30 p.m. game in St. Louis.
