ST. LOUIS, Mo.– Missouri-St. Louis midfielder Gabe Stanislawski scored three goals for the Tritons over Drury on Friday night in St. Louis, Missouri.
The Panthers dropped to 4-7-5 and 4-5-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, while UMSL went to 3-9-2 and 2-9-1 in the league.
Stanislawski scored two of his three goals early, getting his team on the board in the fourth minute and then nearly 60 seconds later in the fifth minute. The first of his two goals came with an assist from Owen Sears.
Stanislawksi finished off the hat trick in the 72
nd minute notching his third of the night. The three goals were his first three of the year.
Drury out-shot Missouri-St. Louis 14-9 but only had two on goal, while the Tritons had five on net.
Jason Puente led the Panthers with seven shots.
The Panthers conclude the road trip and will play their final game of the regular season on Sunday at McKendree at 2:30 p.m. in Lebanon, Illinois.
