QUINCY, Ill. – Drury made a second-half push but battled Quincy to a scoreless tie on Friday in Quincy, Illinois.
The Panthers ended the night with a 2-4-5 overall record and a 2-2-3 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Hawks went to 2-7-1 and 1-4-1 in the GLVC.
After being held without a shot in the first half, Drury put up eight shots in the second half, including two on goal. The Panthers outshot Quincy 8-7 for the game, while the Hawks also had two on goal. Drury goalkeeper
Camden Meyer had two saves and recorded his third shutout of the year. Seven different Panthers put up a shot and Nathan Louge led the team with two.
Quincy's tie ended a four-game losing streak for the Hawks.
Drury's road trip concludes on Sunday when they travel to Illinois Springfield for a 2:30 p.m. game.
