INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Drury fell in their second of two weekend road games to start their Great Lakes Valley Conference schedule as Indianapolis came away with a 3-0 at home on Saturday in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Greyhounds took advantage of nine Drury attacking errors in the first set for a 25-14 win in the opening frame. Indianapolis took a 2-0 lead with a 25-18 victory in the second set, and they completed the sweep with a 25-15 third-set win.
The Panthers were led by
Juliana Squire's eight kills, 10 digs, and two blocks.
Lauren Tyler added eight kills and 17 assists.
Indianapolis got 10 kills from Sophia Parlanti, who also had 13 digs. Claire Morris provided 32 assists and Ellie Spang had a game-high 17 digs. The Greyhounds had nine service aces and nine blocks in the three-set win.
The win extended Indianapolis' winning streak to 11 games and their record to 12-2 and 2-0 in the GLVC. The Panthers fell to 1-11 and 0-2 in the league.
Drury has been away from home for each of their 12 games to start the season and will finally be back on their home floor at the O'Reilly Family Event Center on Sept. 29 when they host Maryville at 6 p.m.
