SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury and Upper Iowa traded second-half goals and battled to a 2-2 on Friday at Harrison Stadium in Springfield.

The Panthers went to 1-4-4 and 1-2-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, while the Peacocks moved their record to 4-2-2 and 1-2-2 in the league.

After a scoreless first half, Drury struck first as Jacob Schmidt scored in the 60th minute on a corner kick with an assist from Jason Puente. The goal was Schmidt's second of the year. Upper Iowa responded less than two minutes later, as Frider Blunck put in his fourth goal of the season and evened the game.

Drury took the lead back in the 84th minute. JJ Adikwu got his first goal of the year with assists from Puente and Lui Bull.

Once again, the Peacocks answered and, in the 86th minute, tied the game again on a goal from Wilmer Canales.
