DU places two and sets team record at Pittsburg St. Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Drury's indoor track & field teams and two runners place and produced one school record at the Pittsburg State Invitational, hosted by Pittsburg State on Saturday.
 
Men's Highlights
  • Sophomore Nolan Moeller shattered Drury's record in the 600 meter run. The Ozark native finished eighth in a field of 29 runners with a time of 1:13.06. Moeller broke a program mark that had stood for 11 years by more than nine seconds.
     
  • Kyle Keltner also placed for Drury as he finished eighth in the mile among 61 runners. The freshman from Springfield (Kickapoo HS) posted a time of 4:17.95, a mark that ranks fifth at Drury all-time.
     
  • Cole Sutton was ninth in the 800 meter run out of 43 runners. Sutton, a junior from O'Fallon, Missouri, had the third-fastest time in team history with a time of 1:54.35.  
 
Drury's track & field teams again next Friday and Saturday at the Bearcat Invitational hosted by Northwest Missouri State in Maryville.
