Five Panthers Earn CSC All-District Honors

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their 2024-25 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country teams on June 24. Drury had five athletes earn the honor.
 
The 2025 Academic All-District Men's Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes men's track & field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
Three Springfield, Mo. natives receive All-District honors. Sophomore Tyler Harris earns a spot on the team for the first time after receiving all-region honors in the 10,000-meter run. Harris won the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) track & field championship in the 10,000-meter (31:10.26) and finished toward the top third at the NCAA-II national qualifiers (31:15.4). He owns the record in the 3,000-meter (8:29.24) and the 10,000-meter (29:32.17) in outdoor track at Drury. Harris is a two-time All-GLVC selection for cross country.
 
The second Springfield, Mo. native, Colby Garner, makes the team for the second time. The senior owns the second-best time in the 3,000-meter (3:52.52) and fourth-best time in the 5,000-meter (14:43.02) outside at Drury. He also earned All-GLVC selection for cross country. 
 
Kyle Keltner is the third Springfield, Mo. native to receive all-district honors. The sophomore makes the team for his first time and owns the record in the 1,500-meter (3:48.24) outside and the mile (4:10.21) inside. 
 
Topi Alahuhta makes All-District for the first time in his first season at Drury. The junior from Pine, Colo. also received All-GLVC selection and set the fourth-best time in the 10,000-meter (30:52.83) outside and fourth-best time in the 5,000-meter (14:59.79) inside. Alahuhta finished third at the GLVC track & field championships in the 10,000-meter (31:17.61). 
 
Burthoud, Colo. native, Josie Diffendaffer, earns the honor for the first time. Diffendaffer joined the program last season and set the fourth-best time in the mile (5:08.54) and the 3,000-meter (10:16.96) inside for Drury. She earned an All-GLVC selection for cross country,
