SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Quincy scored two goals in the first half and two more in the second half in a 4-0 win over Drury at Harrison Stadium in Springfield on Sunday afternoon.
The Panthers fell to 5-5-4 and 3-5-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Hawks went to 5-6-2 and 4-4-2 in the GLVC.
Quincy got on the board in the 12
th minute on a goal from Joao Pedro Amaral, his second of the year. The Hawks took a 2-0 lead just before halftime as Josh Nswosu's first goal of the season.
Quincy notched their third goal early in the second half as Matheus Loreto put in his first goal of 2024, and the Hawks tacked on another score in the 65th minute when Leo Cann contributed his team-leading fourth goal of the year.
The Hawks outshot Drury 19-13.
Mason Platts led the Panthers with three shots.
Drury returns to the field on Friday when they travel to Rockhurst for a 7:30 pm game in Kansas City, Mo.
