LIBERTY, Mo. – Drury got a first-half goal from
Carson Morgan and held off William Jewell for a 1-0 win in Liberty, Missouri, on Sunday.
The Panthers improved to 7-5-4 and 5-5-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Cardinals fell to 3-10-2 and 2-8-2 in the GLVC.
The lone goal of the game came in the 21
st minute.
Carson Morgan scored his seventh goal of the season and got an assist from
Joe Loughnane. It was Loughnane's seventh assist of the year.
Drury held William Jewell off the board as Panthers goalkeeper
Camden Meyer 10 shots and made three saves in the shutout.
The win gave the Panthers their second win on the road trip after Drury's 3-2 win at Rockhurst on Friday.
The Panthers play their final game of the regular season next Sunday when they host Southwest Baptist at 2:30 pm in Harrison Stadium.
