Bella Hernandez in a 1-0 at William Jewell on Sunday afternoon in Liberty, Missouri.
The Panthers extended their unbeaten streak to eight games and lifted their record to 12-1-4 and 10-1-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Cardinals dropped to 3-10-2 and 2-8-2 in the GLVC.
Sunday's game went scoreless until the 76
th minute when
Bella Hernandez broke through for Drury.
Kourtney Tucker dribbled deep to William Jewell's end and, just left of the goal, sent a cross to Hernandez, who fired it in for her third goal of the year. The goal was Hernandez's third of the year, while Tucker earned her fourth assist of the season.
Drury had a 21-2 advantage in shots and had seven shots on goal to William Jewell's one.
Sunday's game was Drury's last road contest of the regular season. The Panthers are at home next Sunday when they host Southwest Baptist at noon in Harrison Stadium.
