ROLLA, Mo.— The Drury Lady Panthers won their 13th straight game on Thursday, taking down Missouri S&T 99-70 in Rolla.
The Lady Panthers are now 21-4 overall and 16-3 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. The Miners dropped to 8-19 and 5-14 in the GLVC.
Drury grabbed control of the game in the opening half by outscoring the Miners 25-13 in the first quarter, then found another gear in the second period, outscoring the Miners 29-12 and extending their lead to 54-25 at the half.
Drury continued their dominance on the boards in the second half, helping them expand their lead to 74-47 heading into the fourth quarter. The Lady Panthers cruised in the fourth, taking the game with a final of 99-70.
Drury outrebounded the Miners 45-20 and had ten more assists as a team. Tonight also saw six Lady Panthers score in double figures, with
Reese Schaaf leading the way with 17 points and 11 boards.
"We played a great game as a team tonight," said Drury head coach
Kaci Bailey. "Everyone did a great job of taking care of their responsibilities on the court, we got to our spots and rebounded well".

th double-double of the season with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Six Drury players scored in double-figures as
Caitlynn Daniels and
Makaiya Brooks added 14,
Anna Hitt had 13,
Beth Matas Martin 12, and
Sydney Hobbs chipped in 10 points.
The Miners were led in scoring by Katelynne Roberts who had 20 points.
The Lady Panthers return to action Saturday, for a 1 pm game at Maryville.
